Financial Director
David has been a valued member of Andrew Scott Ltd for over 30 years, having first worked with the company as its external auditor. Since then, he’s become a trusted figure within the business, playing a key role in shaping both our financial direction and our people strategy.
He oversees all aspects of the company’s financial operations from reporting and payroll to tax compliance and everyday accounting functions. With a calm and steady approach, David has led improvements that have streamlined processes, enhanced accuracy, and supported the company’s continued growth.
David is committed to treating everyone with honesty and fairness, values that underpin both his leadership style and his wider contribution to the company. He also heads up our approach to people nurturing a positive, inclusive workplace culture. He is a passionate ambassador for making Andrew Scott Ltd a ‘great place to work,’ where hard work is recognised and rewarded. A particular point of pride for David is seeing two former apprentices rise through the ranks to become Contracts Managers.
Outside of work, David enjoys spending time with his family, being active in his church community, bonding with the new family dog, and catching up on sport whenever he gets the chance.
