"Testimony from Judith Lewis, College Business Manager: “Andrew Scott were successful in winning the tender for the refurbishment of our college. From the time of appointment and meeting the team, I have been impressed with your organisation. The planning before the team started on site was impressive. This is an old , listed building with well cared for grounds. The project has been completed in a live environment and your team had excellent interaction with staff and a great respect for the environment. The large workforce (at its peak) some 60 men were strictly controlled and supervised in a firm, but fair manner. The small space and limited mess facilities were well controlled and kept to a high standard. I am delighted with the work done and it"Andrew Scott was awarded the contract for the refurbishment and renovation of a Grade 2 listed building at St Michaels College in Llandaff Cardiff. The tight 17 week programme required works to be completed in two phases.
The accommodation block required complete refurbishment to provide thirty en-suite bedrooms along with a kitchen and dining area including all ancillary structural work, finishes, mechanical and electrical installations.
Additionally the refurbishment of the administration block comprised the provision of a new external access, reception, function room and common room areas including all ancillary structural work, finishes, mechanical and electrical installations and the installation of a new platform lift for use by the disabled.
The project was completed on time, to the required quality and within budget.
