Andrew Scott Ltd is delighted to have achieved excellent scores of 45/45 on the Considerate Constructor Scheme, for seven of their last projects in a row.
The Considerate Constructor Scheme helps to support the construction industry to raise its standards in being a considerate constructor and build trust with the public and the local community we work in. The scheme is examined and marked in three separate categories; Respect the Community, Caring for the Environment and Valuing the Workforce.
Andrew Scott received maximum scores of 45/45 for the following 6 projects:
- Ysgol Gymraeg Ystalyfera
- Hillside Secure Children’s Home
- Pencoed Technology Park
- Ysgol Gymraeg Cwm Gwyddon
- KLA U.K. Manufacturing and R&D Centre, Newport
- Watton Mount Grade II Listed Building, Brecon
- New Life for Old College, Aberystwyth University
Andrew Scott has robust and systematic policies and procedures in place to ensure they operate in a responsible way and positively contribute to the local environmental, social and economic well-being of the communities in which they live and work. They are also continuously improving and looking at various plans and sustainability initiatives, including their commitment to decarbonisation and reducing emissions throughout the business, especially the repurposing of existing facilities and the reduction in embodied carbon.
