ICE SUSTAINABILITY AWARD
This landmark structure over the River Wye in Hereford is the first bridge to cross the river in 45 years and forms part of the Sustrans national cycle network, connecting Hereford City centre to the Rotherwas business area.
Its reinforced concrete retaining wall was anchored using micro piling techniques.
The double span cable stay structure is 100-metres long, and includes a three span ramp access at its City end.
