Earlier this year, Andrew Scott Limited took the next step on its transformative and growth journey by completing a major refurbishment on a new HQ in Swansea, after 150 years in Margam.
Andrew Scott had outgrown the existing HQ due to significant growth since 2019, and a large increase in staff numbers.
Mark Bowen, Managing Director of Andrew Scott, said “after 150 great years in the same location in Margam, Andrew Scott Ltd has relocated to a repurposed and retrofit Swansea HQ. The move to Scott House enhances our vision to provide an environment that promotes personal growth and self-pride and to differentiate ourselves as an independent construction partner of choice to those seeking high quality, innovation, best value and a professional service”.
The refurbishment of Scott House is more than just a visual refresh, it embodies the values and perception that Andrew Scott want to portray as one of Wales’s oldest and leading Construction Companies, enabling us to deliver strong operational and financial performance, against a challenging backdrop of energy costs and material prices, and macroeconomic uncertainty. This resilience provides a stable platform to do more for the communities we live and work in, as we continue our journey to Net Zero by 2030.
The newly refurbished Scott House, based in Swansea Enterprise Park, represents Andrew Scott’s core strengths and principles, whilst continuing to bring innovation and quality to the fore. We have robust and systematic policies and procedures in place to ensure we operate in a responsible way and positively contribute to the local environmental, social and economic well-being of the communities in which we live and work. We are continuously improving and looking at various plans and sustainability initiatives, including our commitment to decarbonisation and reducing emissions throughout the business, especially the repurposing of existing facilities for clients and the reduction in embodied carbon in our projects.
