Construction of a 200m inland Surf Lake using ground-breaking Wavegarden cove technology – the first of its kind in the UK. This exciting facility will generate up to 1,000 quality waves per hours, ranging from 50cm (1.7ft) to almost 2m (6.5ft) in height.

The new build also includes an education centre for schools and colleges, a café and bar, a surf shop. There’s also external works for landscaped gardens and car parks

This Secure by Design project creates 15 en-suite bedrooms. Each room benefits from its own private terrace with large sliding glazed doors.

Each room has the flexibility to be heated and cooled by fan-coil units so the environment of the resident can be adjusted. 

The central circulation and social space runs down the centre of two-wings, with high ceilings with daylight through continuous roof lighting.

The entrance lobbies are large open spaces, with adjacent fully glazed garden rooms which accommodate a ‘social-hub’ and café.

Low-energy fittings and plant will minimise demand and achieve the required BREEAM ‘Very Good’ .
